Unsure of the additional Service Discount included.

I signed up for Xfinity in Sep. of 2020. At the time, I know I had a service discount that kept my bill at around $50. In Sep of 2021, that service discount expired and my bill went up to $74.

Looking at my account now, it says that my Performance Pro Internet includes 12 months of a $28.96 Service Discount that will end Aug 30, 2022.

What is this additional Service Discount? I thought that my long-term bill would be $74, and I don't want my price to shoot up to over $100 in September.

Greetings, @user_8b487b! Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your promotion. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

It's not uncommon for a promotion to have a bigger discount for the first year, followed by a more modest discount the second year. Either that, or the promotion will have two different discounts. One for the baseline Performance Internet service that has one specific end date (2 years), and one for the Performance Pro speed boost that has a different end date (1 year).

Regardless, if you could send our team a private message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
