Unspecified $10 Service Charges

Hi my bill this month costs $10 more than last month. The only discernable reason is a message that states: 

  • Regular monthly charges have increased by $10.00 as a result of service change(s) made to My Xfinity plan.

I was promised $50 for a year. It is extremely disappointing that xfinity is springing this only 5 months into the service (and with no explanation). Why am I being charged $10 extra? Please get me in contact with someone who can help (I have tried the xfinity AI assistant and it was unable to tell me why).

Also is this forum seriously the only way I can reach an agent? I am seriously considering switching providers given this unexplained charge and how difficult it is to reach someone here.
