Unlimited Data Overage Charge

Very frustrated. I was charged an extra $100 and was not refunded.

November 2021 data was exceeded and was given a free month (which I knew would happen). January 20th of 2022 data was exceeded. January 24th I signed up for unlimited data (already used free month in November). I read on the Xfinity website (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/exp-unlimited-data) that the month you sign up for unlimited data is counted towards the unlimited package and there will be no charges for overages during that month.

I called customer support today. I explained my situation. The support agent described that they didn’t have any dates of when I went over or my data cycle. I explained what I knew, but the support agent claimed that unlimited data didn’t kick in until activation or possibly the next month (not what is listed on Xfinity.com). If it doesn’t kick in until I sign up then I would only own overages from January 20th - 24th which is not $100 worth. I was only given $25 in credit to my account (still $75 short). I was also told that I should have called sooner when I first went over on data in January (I was charged for overages in January on April 3rd)….

Very upset and frustrated with the service.
