Unknow transactions from upon setting up automatic payment through check-in account
Ever since I updated my xfinity account automatic payment method to my husband's check-in account, all of a sudden, we found out that there were many unknown transactions (described as, COMCAST CABLE <some number> <Account Holder First name> *<Account Holder last name>) posted without any charges/bills or intimation. There is no record of those transactions on my xfinity account. Even Comcast Customer/Billing Service representative confirmed upon contacting (calling) that there is no record of those transactions with them. Comcast told us to report those transactions to my bank.
My husband has reported those transactions as fraud. The bank has processed a stop payment request for all those transactions and the merchant as well. Hopefully, they will be able to refund our money (~$1,823).
Dealing with comcast is very frustrating.
