Unexpected install fee

I transferred my service to a new address and I did a self install but it didn't work. They said I needed to get a technician out and said that it would be free of charge. The agent set up an appointment for Monday 8/4/25 only to find out on the day that there was no appointment set! I had to get ANOTHER appointment for today 8/5/25 only to find out that I'm getting charged $100 install fee! I already missed work on Monday for no reason and now I'm getting charged $100? Please help resolve this problem.

I'd be happy to take a closer look at the follow up communication, and help out in any way I can. To begin, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address? 
 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it
