Undisclosed deposit charge of $125
Nowhere in the checkout process when i was signing up for the 300Mbps for $40/mo was there any indication of a deposit fee and in the confirmation page after signing up it also had due today listed as 0.00$ with the text under it saying "This includes charges like one-time deposits, device payments, and taxes". So why in my email is it saying I paid a 125$ deposit, if the text is saying the due today is where one time deposits would be if there were any?

@user_zyk8di This is a great question. It could be a charge for a professional installation, a deposit to guarantee service, past debt, results from the credit screening etc. I have a link that goes into how our deposit returns work https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/deposit-returns-faqs
I am happy to go over that charge and provide you with exact details and a resolution. Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address, so I can assist you further?

I had the same thing happen today.....I signed up for a new account and my checkout screen explicitly stated that my 'Due Today' total was $0. However, I just received a welcome email stating that a $125 deposit was automatically charged to my card today. This fee was never disclosed during my checkout process.

How do we get this $125 deposit back? I have excellent credit, have been a customer in the past with no late payments. This cannot be legal.
