Unauthorized charges for Xfinity mobile services
In August 2025 I went to the Xfinity store at 2631 N Pearl St in Tacoma, Washington to sign up for internet service at our new address. The Xfinity employee asked me if I was interested in switching my mobile service. I said no because, at that time, Xfinity did not offer international calling. When I found out earlier this year that Xfinity now offered international calling, I decided to switch services. At that time, I was told that I could get one year of free service and the $25 connection fee waived for one line.
However, I am being billed for both lines. I was told that I had previously used a promotional offer. It appears that when I signed up for internet service, the employee signed me up for mobile service that I did not consent to, and I was charged $26.73 for an Apple phone (which I have never owned) with phone #[Edited: "Personal Information"] (which I have never used). The employee NEVER mentioned that I would be charged. I am disgusted by the deceitful practice. I have spent HOURS online, on the phone and in person at the
store trying to get this resolved. I have run out of patience. This issue needs to be resolved or I will take this further to the FCC.
