Unauthorized ACH
Yesterday Comcast illegally initiated an ACH withdrawal from my bank account, paid themselves to my comcast account, but now needs proof it came from my account, as if they didn't initiate it. No, I don't have autopay.
Bank statement issues 1/28/23. They want a screen shot today.
Disgusting business practices. Can't wait to be free of them.

Hey @user_20eec1 I can gather more information and investigate the payment. On our end payments can only be drafted with our customers consent or enrollment in Autopay on the settlement date. We will make sure we see what caused the payment.
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
See https://comca.st/3KQF8q9r for an example.

Unauthorized ACH seems to be what Comcast does. I just had the same happen into an old account which denied the payment. I am not on auto pay, and my last payment was paid by completely different card. I did not authorize Comcast to try to take the funds. My attorney will be sending a letter to Comcast, and Wells Fargo is investigating for fraud.
