Unable to Verify Correct Phone Number

Hello! I am trying to change my account payment details to a different credit card, but I am unable to since it says I have not verified my new contact information (the Xfinity account is being transferred to myself, the new tenant). When I try to verify my phone number in contact info, I try and send the code, but it does not send (I have never been able to receive it on my phone). I have confirmed that the phone number entered is correct. Could you please assist me in confirming my phone number so that I can update to the correct billing information?

user_8zpm1c Thank you so much for reaching out for help with updating your payment information. We do take security seriously, and the contact information does need to be confirmed for any of us to send a verification code. 

I would recommend checking the website directly to confirm your contact information there. Be sure to be connected to your Xfinity home wifi to help with verification. Sign in to Xfinity Account Settings to confirm your email or phone number. 

Also, if you are in the process of a name change/ownership change, it may be defaulting to the Primary users informaiton. The previous account owner would need to help transfer that role. The current primary user must sign in to Xfinity.com, navigate to 'Account and Identity' under the Account icon, select the new user, and choose "Transfer Primary rights."
