Unable to Pay Bill Online

When I visit the link from the billing email (https://customer.xfinity.com/#/billing/brite), I get the following error: 


customer.xfinity.com
 is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 503


When I manually go to the xfinity site and log in, and attempt to pay my bill, I get the very infamous error: 

You don't have permission to access "http://payments.xfinity.com/new" on this server.

While I understand that this is intentional, in order to increase late fee revenue and lock people into higher payments, I don't think that's a reasonable excuse. No I will not install your mobile app.

@arajay So sorry to hear that you're running into these issues trying to make a payment. If you need any help please send us a direct message with your full name and address.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct messaging" icon near the top right of the page

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
