Troubles with the modem

Hi, yesterday our modem accidentally started to not work. We tried to restart it manually a couple of times but it wouldnt help, also because the restart option on my xfinity app wouldn't show up. It also looks like my account is inactive suddenly even though we just paid for the service on June 2.

Did you recently move into your home and then start service?  If so, it's possible that the previous tenant had service but hasn't paid their bill.  That would be the reason your service was cut off unexpectedly.  You will need to go to a Comcast store with either your lease or mortgage or a utility bill and a photo ID so that they know you are not related to the person with the outstanding debt; they should be able to turn your service back on, then.
