tired of poor service by Xfinity CC
I contacted Xfinity customer care for the past three months at least six or seven times. However, the issues were never resolved. Instead, I wasted several hours and was left helpless.
Let me narrate the entire story. This is my last try.
I took Xfinity internet service in October 2021. Around the middle of September 2022, I got a notification saying (through email or messages) that the one-year contract would end soon and hence the discount. So I contacted Xfinity customer care (CC) to extend the contract. CC told me that my current plan was no longer available and asked me to choose a new one. So I opted for the new plan. All the problems started at this point.
Problem 1:
I was charged extra for the new service added. Please see Oct statement. I was merely extending the contract, and since CC told me that the old plan was no longer available, I opted for a new one. It is unfair to charge extra for this.
Problem 2:
When I opted for the new plan, within a few days, I got a notification saying the equipment was ready for shipment. I contacted CC and told them I had never placed an order for the equipment. CC told me the same thing: they could not see any orders in my account, and they still went ahead and put a note to cancel (if any) the order.
The next day, I got a notification saying the equipment was on the way. I contacted CC twice again. They promised me that nothing would be delivered.
Not surprisingly, I got an Xfinity flex box at my doorstep the next day. Again, for the FOURTH TIME, I contacted CC, told them the entire story (clearly told them that I was not going TO TOUCH this equipment). They told me that I could discard them or do whatever I wanted. They would put a note to remove the equipment from my account.
Problem 3:
Again, not so SURPRISINGLY, I was charged extra for equipment & services in November and January month.
Request
- Hence, I kindly request you refund the money I paid for the new service added and equipment charges. Also, kindly remove the Xfinity flex from my account.
- When I contacted CC (multiple times) agreed to refund my money and would remove the equipment from my account so that no charges would be applied in the future. But it NEVER happened.
- I wasted several hours contacting CC for the last three months. I cannot tell you how much I am irritated and annoyed saying the same thing repeatedly and being left helpless.
