Temporary service plan

I was told to enroll in a temporary service plan to pay my bill over 12 months and was told that it would take effect within 1-2 business days. It’s now been more than 4 business days and no one knows anything. Is this part of a scam that Xfinity is doing to get their past due balances? If that’s the case, I’ll attempt to get internet services elsewhere until I can pay this off in full.

@user_f3emar My team can look into your billing concerns today. I can assure there is no scam, and we are here to help. To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message. 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
