Technician fee for not having network service
I had a service technician because I didn't have network at home and a month later I was charged a $100 fee. But, let's start from the beginning. On Tuesday July, 11, 2023 I called to the company to canceled my service and to report the network wasn't working. The WIFI was come in and off. The representative convinced me not to cancel the service and for being a customer for more than thirteen years he offered me a package called connect more for $35 a month. I accepted the new plan but I let him know that for almost a week the wireless network was not working. He tried to help me but he couldn't. Then, he transfer me to a different department to talk with a specialist. After trying for a long time, the specialist told me that the company was going to send a technician. On Wednesday, 12, 2023 the technician came to my house and indeed he helped me to get back the network.
On Wednesday 19, 2023. I called back to Comcast to confirm the new pay bill and to let know that I was using my own equipment to get WIFI (Router) the representative confirmed me that the company was going to charge me $55 with a credit of $20 and paying and on the month of August the total of $15 and for the following months the regular price of $35. After confirming that everything was fine and clear, I was already satisfied, but unfortunately yesterday (August 24, 2023) I got a text message saying that Comcast was charging me $121.84 a total of four times more. I immediately called ttoXfinity Comast and the representative told me that I was charged for amount of $100 for service technician fee.
I am very disappointed and I feel the company trick at me. First, I was never told that the company was going to charge me for send me a technician for not having network signal. Second, I called and asked about the new pay bill and nobody told me about the hidden charge. Third, honestly, if I had been informed that I had to pay $100 to get the network service at that moment, I would have immediately canceled the service because that's what I wanted to do in the first place "Cancel Xfinity Comcast" instead of paying Xfinity service issues.
