Switching to Fios because Comcast/Xfinity loyalty is more of a penalty
I have been a Xfinity customer for 14 years or more and my bill is $300. It's ridiculous. I am at checkout on Verizon Fios and the bill is around $190-230 a month including tax depending on which package works best for me. With a 5 year price lock. They also offer sign up perks like $200 amazon card. Switching my old Xfinity plans to the new Fios comparable Xfinity plans gets my bill only down to $260 a month. That's around $480 to $960 in savings by switching a year why wouldn't I do that? I am a Diamond Member but I have to pay twice the price of a new Xfinity member. A Diamond member is quoted $100 a month for internet whereas new customers get it for $50 a month. Loyalty is a penalty. Is there anything I should know about Fios before switching? Thank you.
