Superfluous Cancellation fees
Dear Xfinity Customer Service,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to address an issue regarding the cancellation charges associated with my Xfinity account.
Recently, my household made the decision to cancel our Xfinity services. This decision was made proactively and in accordance with the terms we understood, which did not include an obligation to pay cancellation fees. However, we were surprised to learn about the charges we are now facing upon cancellation.
While we understand that there may be fees associated with cancellation, we believe that the amount currently being charged is disproportionate to the circumstances. Given our previous understanding of the agreement, we are requesting a reduction in the cancellation charges.
Additionally, we were concerned to hear about the possibility of being sent to collections if the fee is not paid. We find this unfair, particularly because there was no prior attempt to charge the account. We would appreciate clarification on this matter and urge reconsideration of the charges.
We are willing to cooperate and settle this matter amicably. Therefore, we kindly request your assistance in reviewing the cancellation charges and adjusting them to a more reasonable amount. We valued the services provided by Xfinity and hope to resolve this issue satisfactorily.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
