(Suggestion) Offer Xfinity Senior citizens Promo pkgs

My mother is 85 years old, Currently her bill is $185! That is ridiculous. She doesn’t watch that much tv, but in my opinion this is bit asking too much since people are living longer. This would be great for senior citizens who are on fixed incomes. My email address is

In order to qualify they would need to provide the following: (suggested)

Proof of residence
Proof identity (driver license showing the person lives at that address; suggested age is 65 & older)

Package Suggestion:
Cable TV, phone & internet pkg-$110/mo including all fees
Cable channel lineup-
All local channels
Allow them to select 3 channels of their choice. My mom watches OWN, The Word Network, & IMPACT or BET. Please!! Let’s be considerate of our elders.

There are basic packages without the expensive HBO and Showtime additions.  The whole problem is the FCC.  They allow these problems, they allow NO competition due to 1950s rules on telephone access.  The FCC has been talking about "Pick and Choose" your packages since 2005.
You can try satellite, but if you want Internet, gotta go with cable/fiber.

Hi there, @Vontour4,

If you are an account manager on your mothers account, we can take a look at seeing if we can lower the pricing at all with a new promotion. We want to do our very best to help out. You reached the right place for that! 🙂

Can you please private message me your full name and service address? Thank you for posting to our forums.
