Stunned. Does the concept of a loyalty discount even exist?
Just got off the phone w/ Xfinity Cust Svc Retention Department, and for the first time ever, they didn't even make an effort to attempt to retain me as a customer. The offers extended to me were baffling- they pushed the $10 autopay discount and $30 affordable connectivity program as ways of reducing my bill. Before Covid, they used to have some discretion about crediting a fee here or there, or constructing a promo that was suitable for my needs. This time they couldn't even build a package that actually lowered my bill (the rep ran through like 3 changes and was surprised that all of them came out to be more than what I'm currently paying).
I can't think of a word to describe the situation, I'm laughing because its just stunning that Xfinity for the first time is content with letting me walk and try a different service someplace else. Just crazy. What happened to Comcast's ability to negotiate? Wow.

Thanks @XfinityJosephB for the discussion. I'm still surprised at the lack of flexibility that is exhibited by Xfinity these days. Unfortunately, I'll be moving on to another internet & television service provider at this time.
Of all the people that I know, I was one of the last stalwarts of cable services, mainly because Xfinity would bend enough to be competitive with pricing, but I guess those days are over. I'm the last dinosaur to cut the cord in my family LOL.
Good luck to everyone else, hope you get your billing issues resolved!

I know that is not the experience we want you to have! If you would like, I can also take a look at your account and see what I have available for you. Can you send me a DM with your name and address? You can do that by following these directions:
To send a direct message you may need to:
Click "Sign In"
Click the "direct message" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
