Still seeing a bill due even though I canceled service
I called xfinity twice and both times I was told my service was going to be canceled, and all I would need to pay was something around $4. On the first call, this person said she would take care of it and everything would be good. After a few days I still see a bill due for my regular bill amount. So I call back. This guy says he's gonna take care of it, and all I would be charged for ending the contract was $4. Okay sweet sounds good. Well it's been over a week later and I still am getting alerts through text about my xfinity service being down (which implies I still have an active service), I still have a payment due coming here in a few days, and I still have not seen this mysterious $4 charge thats supposed to cancel my account. I just need someone to confirm my service is done. I got an email that says "We received your cancellation request and we're working on it." Like what do you mean you're working on it? I need confirmation that it's over, I need the upcoming bill cleared off my account, and I'd like to stop receiving text alerts about an account that should be closed.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
