STILL getting error msg when trying to pay

For the last 8+ years, I have always paid my bill online using the Xfinity website. I like to pay early.

Since my last pmt (late Dec/early Jan), when I try to pay on the site, the error is "unable to process pmt for amt entered". The phone system won't accept pmt either.

I could mail it via my bank but I'm worried it would not be accepted. (I will not use Auto pay for any business.)

Help, please. Thanks!!

Good evening @MissyLaneous. Thank you for reaching out to our team for assistance on our Community Forums page. I am sad to read you have been experiencing issues with making your payment to us though our Xfinity website. No worries we are here to help. If I may ask, have you tried paying through the app, and if so are you receiving the same error message? Thank you kindly. We look forward to getting this resolved together. :)

@XfinityKrystal I have an old smartphone and I don't use apps.

I have continued to try using 3 different browsers and YES I clear cache and cookies each time: same error! This has been going on for TWO+ weeks.

I am convinced there is an issue somewhere in my account: why can't someone look into this please?

I can't afford $30+ for a taxi to pay in person, and I have NO confidence a mailed pmt will be posted due to this error.

I am at my wit's end. Please help. Thank you.

Thank you for letting us know @MissyLaneous. We appreciate the steps you've tried to resolve the issue. Would you be so kind and send us a direct message, so we can assist further. :)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window • Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

Sorry but I don't see an option to mark this as an Accepted Answer.

[Edited: "Inflammatory"]  I gave up trying to pay them because their system is horrible
