special offer

I signed up for the 1 Gig w/ Peacock 5 yr plan @ 50/mo after discount on June 19th and paid a $25 deposit. Received confirmation email with order details. Called the following month after service had still not started at the address I was moving to. Customer Service says "it didn't go through on our end" and will now only offer $70/mo w/o Peacock for same level of service. Was put on hold for about an hour while agent claimed to be "going up the chain" and said he was told there was nothing they could do about it.

I think it's unreasonable that Xfinity won't honor the contract I signed up for because of a problem they apparently had with processing the order.

What are my options?

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_nqb5y0 Thanks for reaching out for assistance with your new offer concern when signing up for our service. I would be happy to review what happened, and help in any way I can.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
