Soft Disconnect after promised extension
I lost my job back in April and got an extension on my bill. I paid it off. I just started my new job this week and I don't get paid until the weekend. I reached out on Monday and was told by an agent I spoke to, that she would give me an extension until June 11th because she understood how hard it is to lose a job and everything. She said my services were not going to be disconnected before June 11th. I was lied to. I get off work today and my service is shut off. Then I reach out today and was told by the first agent, my services would be back on and would stay on until I paid the balance off. This was also wrong. The service was not turned back and on so I connected to a new agent and they said it couldn't be turned back on until I pay the amount I owe. I say I can't pay until Friday and I want to know why they're allowed to lie to people. Final agent (number 5 over two days) says nope it won't stay on until Friday but I've been very generous and turned it back on for the next 2 hrs. I know this has been a frustrating process, and I do apologize about the experience with the services. Job loss certainly adds additional stress, and I certainly understand needing the connection if possible. I do receive your DM, and will continue with you there.
