Signed up for new service today, but my first bill is more that agreed on

I was paying $60.00 on my internet account, butI just signed up for a new internet plan (5 year guarantee price) this morning. My monthly bill was suppose to be $76.74 / Mo. I just received an email notice that my next bill will be $85.50. What is going on.  Why would there by around $10.00 higher.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_e0wt19 Thanks for reaching out about your billing cocern. We can certainly take a look to see why it came out higher than expected.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
