Services turned off

If our service has been turned off and we scheduled a payment to go through tomorrow, why did it just double a day before the payment is supposed to hit. That seems shady beyond belief.

user_wgozby Thank you so much for your post for help with scheduled payment. A scheduled payment is not the same as a payment arrangment/extention and does not guarentee your services. When you go to set up a payment for the past due amount an select a date in the future a message will pop up if your account is elgible for an arrangment/extention. That message will details the amount needed and by what date it is needed by to keep services active. If you payment does not fall into those outlined terms then your account may still be interrupted. If a new bill posted to your account since you set up the scheduled payment or a new bill became past due then it would update the balance as well for any arrangment/extention.

I get that much but if we can't use said services why would another bill hit?

@user_wgozby Also I saw on the app that if we paid by the 26th that the next cutoff date was the 7th. I don't understand why that changed.

We do bill in advance for your services. So even if you can not use the services the bill for the upcoming time has been printed. If you do not restore services the time you are not able to use your services would be credited back to you. The only way the payment arrangement information would change is if a new bill posted as I mentioned or a new bill became past due.

I'm just frustrated because it's literally the day before payment would be posted. And now the goal post is moved further back
