Service not restored after paying outstanding balance

I have paid my overdue balance, as well as my current bill, but my service has not been restored. I paid my past due balance nearly 7 hours ago. When can I expect my service to be restored?

Thank you so much for stopping in for help with restoring your services. With a hold due to your balance, once a payment for the full past-due amount is posted to the account, the services should be restored automatically within 1 hour. While the payment is still in the pending status in your payment history, the balance has not been processed yet to start the restoration. Since you are making a payment for more than the past-due amount, that is great. Have you checked the payment status/history to see if it is still pending?
Some banks take longer than others to process payment requests, which can add to the expected restoration time. You can use the Xfinity app on your iOS or Android smartphone. Sign in with your account credentials. Tap the Account tab located on the bottom navigation bar. Select Bill details. Tap All Statements history to view past payments, processing confirmations, and downloadable statement PDFs.

user_w83ptw, has the balance updated for the account to reflect that the payment has posted? If the balance is still showing past due, there may be an issue with the payment,, and it has not updated yet. You can also confirm with your bank to see if the payment/payments are showing on that end as well. If it does show no longer pending on both ends your bank and ours and the balance is updated, but your services are still not restored, we may need to look more into the payment for you. If any portions are still pending that would need to be completed before restoration can begin.
