Service disconnected no notice
Previously when I had missed a payment, I would get mail or an email with a disconnection date. I logged into my online account the other day to check my balance, and there was no indication that my service was in danger of being disconnected. Today I log in to pay the bill and find out that my service is being shut off today for non payment with no advanced warning! No email, no letter. Why has Comcast changed this policy?

This sounds like a very frustrating situation @shortshanon4077 . I am sorry for the headache this has caused you. This is certainly not the experience we want for our loyal customers. You should have received notification that the payment was missed. I would be happy to look over your account to determine why a notification was not sent out.
