Service call charge

My internet stopped working.  Comcast determined that a service man needed to come to fix the problem.  He had to climb a huge ladder to replace wires in the telephone pole down the street.  After he’s done, my neighbors and I have working service again.  I then get a $100 service charge on my next bill. I call customer service and I’m told I have to pay for line work.  After a bunch of back and forth and threatening to leave for Starlink, the agent assures me she has reversed the charge.  It’s on my account again this month.  The lies that these agents tell are incredible.

Hello, @user_5mmbiz let's take a look at that charge. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
