Sent to collections…Account is still open?

Hello,

In July 2025 I have moved and had my services moved to my new location. Due to unexpected expenses I called Xfinity to set up a payment plan. I was told by a representative that I was able to upgrade my internet services to update my billing….

Fast forward to 2026 and Comcast unknowingly sent a bill to collections. I am still using services with Xfinity. I will be seeking legal advice because this is fraudulent activity. How can you have customer representatives falsely set up payment arrangements and promotions and turn around and do something as fraudulent as this?  You all have already got a few class action lawsuits against you.
