Sent a collection that I am unaware of

I ended Xfinity service at the end of May 2026 and kept getting texts saying I owed  equipment back  and will be charged even though I already returned it. I called Xfinity multiple times to address these text messages and 3+ employees told me to ignore the message and I wouldn't owe any money.

This morning, I woke up to this text from Xfinity Support:

"Your Xfinity account has been placed for collection with Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC, a collection agency. Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC will contact you to resolve your outstanding balance. Make a payment at ... "

This is unacceptable so please help support on this.

user_t2he0v Was the final bill cleared up? The returned equipment charges are non-applicable if everything was returned, but there is still traditionally a final statement that gets sent out after about 30 days.

Thank you for the prompt reply

According to the multiple times I called, I was told it would clear up and to ignore the messages. I never received a final statement in the mail.
