Security breach/unauthorized changes/financial impact

I am filing a formal dispute regarding severe billing errors, unfulfilled corporate promises, and an apparent security compromise on my Xfinity account. For almost 2 years, I have maintained an Internet-only plan for $65.00 a month.

In June or July 2026, my account was modified without my authorization or consent. Sports packages and cable TV services were added, and equipment was ordered to my address which I never received, requested, or activated. Internal chat records show that a fraudulent email address and external site promotions

were improperly linked to my identity to execute these changes.

I have spent hours contacting customer support, supervisors, and the Xfinity Fraud Department throughout August and September 2026. Every department confirmed that these changes were unauthorized, changes my passwords and added additional security measures to better secure my account and explicitly promised that my account would be returned to its original $65.00/month rate and all fraudulent fees would be fully backdated and removed. Despite these clear operational promises, Xfinity has only issued a minor $60 courtesy credit while leaving a fraudulent balance of nearly $500.00 pending, subjecting my household to continuous service disconnection threats.

Furthermore, during a customer support chat in September 2026, an Xfinity agent sent a suspicious external link asking for credit card data, which the representative scrambled to call a 'system error' before abruptly ending the session. This suggests a severe breach of data security on Xfinity's platform.

I demand that Comcast/Xfinity immediately: (1) Cease all service disconnection actions pending this investigation, (2) Honor their explicit corporate promises to restore my original $65.00/month internet-only contract, (3) Erase all backdated cable, sports, and equipment charges added without my consent, and (4)

Formally investigate the chat security breach and unauthorized profile modifications.
