Scammer

BEWARE: Scammer representative. I did an over the phone internet activation and went to pick up the router at this location, picked up the router and left. (btw, they forgot to give me the wires for it) 2 months later im receiving phone calls and emails saying my phone bill is past due?? Um I don’t have a phone account with Xfinity. Turns out the guy that gave me the router opened a mobile account when I was not there and added an iPhone 14? I have ATT and a iPhone 17 pro.. ? now my credit was damaged because they kept reporting my account was past due.

user_jujxof, Thanks for reaching out. This is certainly not the experience we want anyone to have or like to hear about. I would also be concerned to learn of an account or device I didn't recognize, especially if it has impacted my credit. We'd like the opportunity to look into this further. Would you mind sending us a direct message with your first/last name and full address by clicking the "direct message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page? Once you click on that, click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the 'To:" line, input our shared handle "Xfinity Support" to send us a direct message, so we can review the account details and determine what occurred. If an account was opened without your authorization, we'll make sure the matter is routed to the appropriate team for investigation. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would like to help get to the bottom of this.
