scamm

I was scammed when I called to report an issue with my cable and internet, I was charged for the technician services $120.00 to my credit card and $290.00 on my checking account for a deal package.  The charges showed on my accounts in the name of a company Universal Technical Support not Comcast Xfinity.  That is how I knew I was scammed.  I was very disappointed I have been with Comcast for almost 20 years. When I called Xfinity they offered me a $20.00 credit. I dont understand how this scammers knew my personal information.

The concern is not "Channels And Programming" help related...................... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi, user_un6bww! We appreciate you for taking the time out of your day to visit XFINITY. I have been a victim of fraudulent activity before so I understand the frustration that this can cause. At Comcast, we take your account security very seriously. We highly recommend that you contact our Customer Security Assurance team at 1-888-565-4329. Our awesome Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team makes sure you have a safe online experience! These security professionals handle issues like phishing, spam, infected computers (often called bots), online fraud and other security issues. Their hours of operation are 6:00 AM - 2:00 AM ET/Seven days a week. How does this sound?
