Scam

I am extremely disappointed with Xfinity. I was charged a $130 cancellation fee for a contract I was never clearly informed about. I signed up in person, and at no point did the representative explain that I was entering into a contract or that a cancellation fee would apply.

When I returned my equipment, no one mentioned the fee either. Only afterward did I find out I was charged. After reading reviews, I realized many other customers experienced the same issue and were told that they had “agreed” through text or email. But again — my service was set up in person, and something this important should be clearly disclosed verbally.

Expecting customers to catch this in long legal documents without direct explanation feels misleading. It honestly seems like a tactic to trap people into paying extra fees. This experience has completely ruined my trust in this company.
