Scam
Customer service is absolutely horrible and filled with scammers. I was offered a deal from a customer representative on the chat. My deal was $45 a month for 500 mb and a free iPad. I had confirmed with the representative that the iPad would not be a mobile line. They continue to send me a form for my social security number and date of birth, then send me a form for my credit card. The form looked very suspicious.
They told me I would have a 1 time payment of $157.50 which was for the government taxes and fees of the iPad. I got the iPad and activated it only to find out that I need to pay a separate mobile line and I've talked to reps who seem like they are in on the scam or completely disregard what I was originally offered. Multiple times I’ve been asked for my social security and other personal information and it wasn’t for a soft credit check or anything. I don't know whats happening but I'm insanely frustrated that im not getting the deal I wanted/was offered. I am also extremely angry at you guys, Xfinity. What kind of people are you hiring? Y[Edited: "Inflammatory"]. A lawsuit will be heading your way, Xfinity. Too many people have also encountered this scam as I was looking through your forums
