scam or real xfinity call?

I got a call in voice mail from a number saying my discount on my XFinity plan was about to expire if I didn't call back at this number: [Edited: "Personal Information"]. I'm highly suspicious (for one thing, when the last one was about to get a price increase, I had no such warning.) Is this a scam?  A reverse phone lookup shows that number doesn't exist.   But how can I know, when I can't find a REAL Xfinity number to call and ask someone?

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to:     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
The FTC also has a great webpage on Scams.  Please check it out as well.
For Target Gift Cards:
Call 1 (800) 544-2943 and follow Target’s instructions.
Keep a copy of the Target gift card or your store receipt.
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!

I just got the same call from a 551 area code and I actually called it back and they said my account was overdue and I could get a deal if I paid 400 upfront. When I told him that I was not going to do that, he began to tell me that if I didn't he was going to cancel all of my services. When I said, you sound like a scam, he actually said, "when I cancel your service, you will know it's not a scam big man".

I received a call today stating: "Hello, Comcast Xfinity here. Your 50 percent discount is scheduled to be deleted from your account today. No further reminders will be sent. Please return our call now using the number that appeared on your caller ID. Thank you."

It gave the number to call back: [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"]

Got the same call today from [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number] showing as Whitmire, SC on CallerID. Agent's name was [Edited: "Personal Information"] (?not completely sure of last name). Offering a new promotion to cut my current bill by 50% and holding that price for 5 years but I had to pay for the first year in one lump sum.  I asked him to confirm the services provided in my current plan.  He said I had to refer to Billing Dept for that info. He couldn't clearly validate that he was an Xfinity rep so I told him I would call Xfinity back regarding the promotion. Have some harsh words for folks like this but I'll defer from adding them to this post.

I received a call today from the number [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"] (STOP REMOVING THE PHONE NUMBER.  LEAVE IT UP SO OTHERS KNOW).  They left a voicemail saying that my 50% discount promotion is ending and I needed to call to discuss.  When I called, the recording sounds legit, saying "Thank you for calling Xfinity, etc" and gives you options.  I chose "Zero" to speak with a rep.  They asked if the number I was calling from was the number where I had service and then asked to confirm my address.  He then said, "I see you are paying $150/month for your Xfinity service".  That was the 1st clue.  I said, $150 for which service?  He said, your Internet.  Now, I just made a partial payment of $150 and obviously that's not my monthly fee, so I said no, my Internet is part of my monthly package.  I then asked him to tell me how much my total monthly bill is and he said $150.  Now I knew for sure it was a scam.  I told them nice try scammer and he cursed me out & hung up.  The thing is, exactly HOW MUCH of our information do they have?  How did they know how much my last payment was?  And do they have our credit card information that Xfinity is storing for auto-payment?
