Retention ghosting
On Thursday 6/16/26, I called 800-934-6489 to cancel my service to move to a cheaper competitor. The retention agent explicitly offered to match the official Xfinity 5-Year Price Guarantee promotion ($50/mo) to keep my business and put me on hold to get approval from his supervisor. He kept me on the phone for 39 minutes, verbally went over the terms, and we waited until he could confirmed the deal was active on my account. I was told it would take up to 24 hours to see it in my account on my end and to receive the next steps email for Peacock activation. Neither of those happened. After another call to customer service to see why I hadn’t received any email, I am now being told there are no notes from my call at all. This is a binding verbal agreement. I would like Executive Relations to pull the call audio from 6/16/26 at 4:24pm for 39 min from the phone number ending in 6003 and manually apply a monthly credit to honor the $50/mo for 5 years rate I was promised.
