Restricted session can’t pay bill

I get a restricted section message when I try to pay my bill. I originally thought I closed my account correctly at my old apartment 3 years ago. I was surprised to see the unpaid balance notice. However it will not tell me how much it is or what it’s for due to the restricted section message when I click on it.

For my old account, it still shows the account number, and that it is “inactive”. 

I am trying to turn the WiFi on now in the apartment I just moved in to with Xfinity, so some help rectifying this issue would be great.

   Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

   Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
