Request for Service Order Agreement / Proof of Residency Before Activation

Hello,

I recently placed an internet order with delayed shipping, so my service will not begin until September. However, I need an official document now that shows my full name, service address, and account number in order to provide proof of residency.

Could you please provide me with either:

  • A Service Order Agreement, or

  • An Account Verification Letter

I do not need a bill yet, just a document confirming my scheduled service.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,
Ruoyu Hu

user_pdpyyk Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Typically, Proof of Residency is asked for before having an account setup. We use this to determine that your service address is new to you and that you had no association with the address prior to that. If you already have an order set up, you should have a confirmation email.

Hi, thank you for clarifying. I do have an order confirmation, but I need a PDF document that clearly lists my name, service address, and account number to use as proof of residency. Could you please provide said document or maybe provide an Account Verification Letter? I just need my name, service address, and account number clearly stated as a proof of residency in PDF form.

user_pdpyyk We don't provide proof of residency. When we ask for that to be provided, it just means we need the new incoming customer to go to the local Xfinity Store with their rental/lease agreement and photo ID so that services can be established.
