Request for Credit for Paramount + through Xfinity [Edited]
On June 1st, I subscribed to Paramount + through Xfinity with an annual charge of $139.99. I was unable to connect to the app. On Jun 2nd, I chatted with Rajesh who was more interested in selling me a new service. On Jun 8th, I worked with a customer account executive for over 2 hours without success. I requested a credit for $139.99. She agreed. On Jun 16th, I spoke with an agent who promised all prior agreements would be honored. When I received my statement, the credit still had not been applied. Called again Jun 24th, spoke to supervisor Katij who said the credit had been denied because Paramount + was a third party vendor and I would need to contact them. This is ridiculous because they are not billing me that charge. I am beyond frustrated with Xfinity! I have spent hours trying to straighten out this mess! [Edited: "Solicitation"]

@user_qywgt5 Thank you for taking the time to outline everything you’ve experienced I can absolutely see why this has been frustrating, especially after multiple interactions and being told a credit would be applied. When Third Party subscriptions are billed through Xfinity, we act as the billing partner, but the subscription itself and the service access are managed by the Content Provider . Because of that, refunds for the annual subscription are typically handled through the provider once the charge has been processed on their end. That said, I do understand the concern here since you were previously advised that a credit would be issued. What we can do from our side is review the account notes and billing history to confirm what was documented and assist where we can further.
