Request for Billing Review

I am writing to request a review and adjustment of my Xfinity account billing. I have been a loyal Comcast Xfinity customer since 2014, and over the past year my monthly bill has consistently been significantly higher than expected, ranging from:

  • August: $142.16

  • September: $152.16

  • October: $161.38

  • November: $216.94

  • December: $190.43

Despite these charges, my billing history shows no recorded data usage from February through November, which indicates that Internet service may not have been active or used as billed.

In addition, I have been charged $53.32 for “Internet Plus / Performance Internet” additional services that I did not request or use. I have also paid $24 per month for equipment that was never requested or connected, and I was later charged an additional $24 per month for unreturned equipment... resulting in an extra $48 per month in charges for unused equipment.

Although all equipment has now been returned, my most recent statement also includes a $12 “reactivation fee” that I believe is inappropriate given the circumstances.

Hi @user_jzvu1v Thank you for taking the time to reach out about your billing. We can help with up to 120 days of billing concerns. A few reasons why your billing may be different is if you had any unpaid rolled over balance, for example a late fee. A reactivation fee would be added if you had services temporarily suspended and would be charged a $6 per line of service fee. We can also help with the unreturned equipment concerns. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.
