Rental Refund

Rented a movie and it’s says I can’t watch it because I don’t have a 4K box. How do I get a refund?

user_y936q6 - Thanks for reaching out with your question—happy to help!

If you'd prefer not to watch in 4K on Xfinity, you can easily adjust the video resolution settings on your Xfinity TV box.

Here’s how to do it:

Press the Xfinity button on your remote.
Navigate to Settings.
Select Device Settings.
Go to Video Display.
Choose Video Output Resolution, and select a resolution lower than 4K (like 1080p or 720p).
If you're using the Xfinity Stream app, it’s good to know that it typically doesn’t stream in 4K. The resolution there is automatically adjusted based on your internet connection speed, so no manual changes are needed.

Let me know if you’d like help walking through the steps on your specific device! If you'd like a refund our team can help too.
