I would like to renew at my current promotional rate. I've been a long time customer and for awhile now everytime I ask for this, I haven't been able to.

I am in the same situation.

my contract is up and the rate is no longer available, my bill will go up significantly to a point I am thinking of switching to Fios who is offering the same rate I am in now.

called customer service multiple times and got nowhere.

is there any recourse for my situation or will I need to make the switch?

I'm puzzled... I also have been told repeatedly that there are no promotions for me.  I also have been told

that you reps don't have anything different (promotions) than any other department at Xfinity.  So why do I always

see replies like the above that implies you do have "promotions" if the poster will just DM you?
