Refund for Unused Month of service
The service/billing cycle for May 2nd-June 1st was charged on April 27th. I cancelled my service on April 30th. I've spoken to customer service agents who tell me that my account was credited and now sits at $0, but those charges were on there for other bills, because the service cancellation was not automatically processed. There was no refund for the month of May- I have bank statements to prove this and my payment. How do I go about this?

Hello @user_e3kx9h, and thank you for posting to our Xfinity Community Forum. I understand your frustration regarding the billing and refund concerns you've described, and you've come to the right place for help.
Xfinity bills for services one month in advance. When services are disconnected, a final prorated statement is typically generated to ensure you're only billed for the days service was active. For example, if your billing cycle runs from the 2nd through the 1st and service is disconnected on the 30th, any applicable credits or adjustments would be reflected on the final statement.
Based on your post, it sounds like you've been advised that credits were applied to the account, but you're concerned that you never received a refund despite seeing the original payment withdrawn from your bank account. We can certainly understand why that would be confusing.
For more information about understanding the charges and credits on your bill, please review: Understanding Your Xfinity Bill.
Does this help clarify what may have occurred, or are you still showing a missing refund after reviewing your final statement and bank records?
