Refund for credit on account

I have been trying to get a refund for the account credit that was on my final bill from July 2023, but I keep getting conflicting information from customer service agents. The first agent was able to assist me and said I would receive the refund within 15 business days - ticket ID number ECM0003426044. When I followed up with customer service again, the agent said the refund had been mailed to my house, but I did not receive it, so he or she was going to look into re-sending it. However, I then got disconnected from the chat and the new agent said that they did not see any credit on my account and I was not entitled to a refund at all. To make matters more confusing, I then received the attached email today stating that my refund IS on my way. Can someone please help clarify as to whether I am getting the refund or not? I've already spent so much time going back and forth with these agents.

To access your account, will you please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
