REFUND FOR $150.00
I’ve canceled 1 of 2 open internet accounts with Xfinity in JANUARY 2026. I was charged $150 for not returning my equipment which I returned the DAY funds were taken from me, March 17th, 2026.
I was told to call customer service to get a refund. Xfinity credited my account when it was already closed/cancelled. I then called again and was told I would see the refund in my account in 4 weeks. The representative verified my account number and all.
The 4 weeks went by and I still hadn’t received my refund. I called again was on the phone for 2 hours where a rep. claimed I had gotten a refund already (FALSE). I have bank statements to prove this is NOT the case.
The representative asked for my new address because even though they claimed that they had deposited the funds already, apparently they also mailed a credit card to me (FALSE) and made no sense since my address on file was OLD and I cancelled services because I was MOVING.
4 weeks went by even though I was told I would be getting my money back in less than 7 days. Still NOTHING. I called again and asked to speak to a manager who said that they had raised my request and she would call me back in 2 days so long as I replied to the customer service review text with the number 9. She didn’t care to help, she only cared about how the call would be reviewed and completely misled me.
