Refund Check in the Amount of $199.98

Stopped my X-finity Service <Edited: Personal Information> on July 2, 2025.  Moved to New Mexico on July 25th. I was notified that I had a refund so I called them and gave them my New Mexico address of <Edited: Personal Information>.  I have called several times to inquire about the refund and the Accounting Management Office can always say they have the NM address; but now I am being told that the Refund Check/Card can only be mailed to the address of service.

I doubt very seriously that they ever send the refund, since the Post Office was notified of the new address (immediately after I moved to NM) and has the responsibility to forward to the address in <Edited: Personal Information>

Maybe X-Finity is upset that I don't have their service in NM; but X-Finity did not have service in this area. All I know right now is X-Finity NEVER  had a problem with me PAYING my bill for their service and I should not be getting the "go around" <Edited: Use Good Netiquette> trying to get my REFUND from them. <Edited: Personal Information>

Hi there, @user_x7b6mp! Congratulations on your new place! I hope you have been getting settled in and enjoying it! We are happy to further help with the refund.

Our normal process is to put the refund back to the payment method on file. If that is not possible we send an email with different options to receive it. If we don't hear back from the email, we then mail the refund. A mailed refund, it is sent to the billing address on file which can be different from the service address. We can update that to your new address so it goes to the correct location. Refunds are unable to be forwarded by USPS so that may be why you did not see it come through.
