Refund and unauthorized removal of funds from account

I would like to start off by leaving a complaint about customer service, who , after I called on July 1, claimed that I was being rerouted to "comcast refund department" which turn out to be a phony phone service that left me no way of speaking to any one and eventually hung up on me. There was no refund service, just a clever way of frustrating a client while dumping them off of the customer service line.

I was a client of Xfinity mobile, I had two lines until,  I received an interesting email claiming that my rates were to be increased due to tariffs. On June 3rd, I closed my account after porting one phone number to another phone carrier. The other phone number was ported the next day. I also stopped my internet service. Xfinity only refunded part of my payment.

The following day, the second phone line was suspended after Xfinity decided not to port the number over .Regardless, I called Xfinity and verified that my account was closed. The agent claimed the account was closed. Not only was I not refunded, on July 1st, Xfinity went back into my account and removed around 55.00 dollars for a service I had not received. Keeping the account open by refusing to port a number was a clever way of justifying taking money, unauthorized,  out an account.

I am entitled to a refund for the month of June and the unauthorized money removed from my account on July 1. I am also entitled to the remainder of the refund for internet services I cancelled on June 2.

user_hv2gsg Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Forums Team regarding your refund. This would be frustrating, and I can see where you are coming from. I'd be happy to take a closer look into your account and billing, and help you get this ironed out today. When you get a moment can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
