reducing my xfinity bill

My Xfinity bill has gotten outrageous! I tried calling and going into the store to reduce the bill but they would not reduce it to my needs and they apparently don't care if I went to another provider. I have been a long time customer and not happy how I treated. It is a shame how us customers are treated with rising costs on a consistent basis! I have internet and all I wanted to do was to have very basic cable. I was told it would only reduce my bill by $10.00! I don't get it. If I only have internet and very basic cable how is that still costing me around $335?! That's criminal. I even filed a complaint and report with the Executive Office which they never took my complaint seriously and I still have an ever rising bill. at this point I'm at a loss. This company has you over a barrel. It's a shame.

You need to go through your FULL bill (online if needed) to check just exactly what you have and what you are paying for. How many cable boxes do you have? What level DVR service? What level Internet service? Are you paying for extra services you don't even know about?

I had Performance (now called Connect More) Internet, Preferred TV service, DVR, 2 cable boxes, and it was about $280. I recently dropped the TV, updated to Fast Internet, and pay only $86.

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out! Rising costs are always a concern, each trip to the grocery store, I am thinking the same thing. We do have a good number of solutions. $335 a month is pretty high. How many cable boxes do you have in the home? $335 was the quote you were provided to have local channels and Internet with Xfinity? Or is this the cost for your current services?

Hello! I have 3 cable boxes and very simple internet and the bill just went up to $347.00 and I don’t have all the bells and whistles tv wise so I think Xfinity should greatly reduce this bill. I appreciate your reaching out .

The plan builder tool is great, it allows you to remove any premium options as well, you can configure the services in the desired setup and even process right there on the website.
