Received Bill after service end date

My Xfinity plan ended October 31st, but I received a bill for services Nov 9th to Dec 8th. I put in the request to cancel back in August and received confirmation over email. I am confused as to why I received a bill and would like to make sure that my Xfinity plan is properly ended.

@user_3f807d Thank you so much for your post for help with your disconnect request! With some requests depending on how they are set up the account is not closed out when the billing ends. This allows time for equipment to be returned before the last bill is printed and avoids potential charges for unreturned equipment. I would be more than happy to check out your accounts details and confirm your last billing date and disconnect details for you.
