RE: Xfinity data usage spikes and breakdown of devices

Boy, do I agree!  Everytime I call them ,which unfortunately is often,  I get different prices and when the bill comes, it's always more than any of the quotes.

Thank you for reaching out to us @Shelly1450! This is far from the experience we want you to have!

When making changes to your account, the current billing cycle will be prorated. If your billing cycle is from the first to the last date of the month and changes were made on the 15th, there would be a prorate for services from the 15th to the last date of the billing cycle.

Typically, your monthly bill is generated a few weeks before the next cycle. If your bill was generated on the 20th of the previous month, the prorates would not appear until the next billing cycle is generated. This can often cause the next billing cycle to be higher or lower due to the prorated partial month charges.

Whenever a representative provides a quote for services, the taxes and fees will be estimated. While promotional agreements guarantee the price of your bundled services, taxes, fees, and equipment fees are subject to change during your promotional agreement.
